Perfect, divine, sweet, charming, BEAUTIFUL...are just a few of the words I will use to describe Chris & Misty's wedding on Galiano Island on September 10th 2011. The ceremony took place in a beautiful garden at the Galiano Inn & Spa. The entire wedding had an old world charm with vintage decor and accents. The Bride walked up an aisle ladened with rose petals as the groom seranaded her on his guitar.

Our Christmas present arrived 2 days after Christmas this year. Haven Noelle was born on December 27th at 4:39pm at 6lbs 11oz. She is so precious & tiny...a gift from God. She has such bright captivating eyes for a newborn. We love her so much! She was definately worth the wait. I could snuggle her forever. Her big brother Justice is adjusting well and loves his new little sister. Enjoy this sneak peek of our little angel.

Last winter I had the joy of photographing this sweet little 4 week old guy & his family at Elk Lake in Victoria BC. Wyatt is adorable, and it's hard to believe he is now almost one years old!!! He had the rosiest cheeks & bluest eyes. His outfit was so awesome...I love their matching 'lumber jack' hats. His entire family is gorgeous and I had so much fun photographing them all.

I had such a fun time photographing Cambria at the end of May for her 1st birthday session. It's hard to believe that this little sweetheart is already 1 years old!! It's been such a delight documenting Cambria's 1st year. We decided to do the photo shoot in the Lukoni family's backyard. It was a lovely sunny day. Cambria was busy as ever running around, full of smiles & giggles! I brought some balloons and a white vintage chair as props for the shoot. I just adore this family!! They are absolutely gorgeous and always so easy to work with. "Happy Birthday Cambria!"

I had so much fun photographing Miss Cambria for her 9 month photoshoot. We met at Elk Lake on a cloudy morning at the end of February. She is just the cutest and the camera loves her!! I just adore the ones of her in the Radio Flyer and who can resist the little pink bear. I can't wait to meet up with them for her 1st birthday session. Thanks for another fantastic photo shoot!

Baby Blue Eyes - Ellie's 7 month photo shoot

In February I met with little Ellie and her parents for her 7 month photo session. The Governor's House was a perfect location for the shoot - with snowdrop flowers, old oak trees, and cobblestone steps. I was amazed at how much Ellie had grown since I last saw her at 2 weeks old. She was so sweet in her little bear outfit and it was so fun to see her sitting on the same suitcase that we used in her newborn session. I just love photographing this family...they are so beautiful and so fun! I look forward to meeting up with them in May for Ellie's 1st birthday session.

Little Dillon came into the world 2.5 weeks early! He was just over 5.5lbs when I photographed him. I have never seen such tiny fingers & toes. I couldn't believe how wide eyed & alert this little guy was. He is amazing! We did some photos inside and then we bundled him all up and took him outside in the sunshine.

I had so much fun photographing this couple's maternity shoot. They were so cute & so excited for their new baby. The session took place at Island View Beach, one of my favourite locations for belly shoots. It was soooooo cold and windy - but we got some beautiful shots. It's hard to believe that she was 36 weeks pregnant. She had such a tiny belly. It's a good thing we got the photos done, because their little baby boy decided to come 2.5 weeks early. Stay tuned for baby Dillon's debut! Congratulations Michelle & Erik, you two are going to be the best parents.

One of my favourite little people to photograph! The first time I photographed little Cambria she was in her mommy's tummy and now she is already 6 months old here. I just adore her number of expressions, her little giggles, & her bright brown eyes. She is such a cutie. We met at Elk Lake again in November for the photo shoot. It was just before the sun was setting in the field. We sure got some magical lighting. Cambria's dad showed up after work on his motor bike. It was pretty cute seeing little Cambria with her dad on his motor bike. The are such a gorgeous family! I can't wait for our next photo session.

Here are some of my favourites from the bride/groom shoot. We went to 2 different locations, the railyards & the boating dock and bluff off of Saxe Point. A perfect combination of urban meets nature. Tanya & Derek were so easy to work with and so fun! Such a beautiful couple. Tanya's eye color is insane. SO BLUE! They just sparkled in the light. Congrats to you guys and thanks for letting me capture your special day. I always have so much fun photographing the wedding party. It was a scorching hot day so we decided to just hit one location - the Parliament Buildings. It was a busy day there, thank goodness I had a permit. The sky was just gorgeous...not a cloud in the sky! Lastly...some highlights from the Ceremony. The ceremony took place at the Inter-Faith Chapel at the University of Victoria/Finnerty Gardens.

Sunflares, golden fields, bubbles, & an old antique photo frame = Creek Family Photoshoot! I had the joy of photographing this beautiful family (both inside & out) in August. They wanted their photos taken during the evening sun when we would be sure to have alot of sunflares and warm sunlight. It really was a delightful time! A bit of hiking through the fields, some breaks for apples along the way, and plenty of family fun with bubbles, giggles, & piggy back rides! Love this family!

This collection of images is from an August maternity shoot with my friend Misty and her partner Chris. It's hard to believe that she was almost 35 weeks pregnant here. She looked incredible! It was such a hot summer evening...we started with some gorgeous bare belly shots at Island View Beach, then we ventured off to a grassy plain with an amazing tree, & finished at an old heritage barn in Brentwood Bay. The lighting was perfect!They were so fun to work with! So beautiful...everything about the photo shoot was amazing. I can't wait to meet their new little one! It was a perfect Saturday morning at the Lagoon for 3 week old Ellie's first photoshoot. I just love her little expressions...her bright blue eyes would stare right into the camera, so alert for a newborn! Our prop for the day? A vintage suitcase stamped with various destinations travelled. The best part was that the suitcase had a stamp from Jamaica - which I learned was where Ellie's dad was born. What a neat coincidence. Congratulations to Dave & Emma on your little princess Ellie. You make wonderful parents & you are such a beautiful new family!

I had so much fun photographing this lovely family. Ron & Mami are expecting their second child in September - a little girl! A perfect addition to their adorable son Rowan, who is going to be such a good big brother. It was a gorgeous summer evening. We met at the old farmer's field at the back of the Red Barn Market. Mami is beautiful! So carefree, so full of joy. Dancing barefoot in the long green grass, family story time, beachballs, and icecream...I couldn't ask for a better photo-shoot. We will be meeting again in October to photograph new baby sister!

Baby's first Easter. I was planning on taking him outside for an Easter photo shoot, but the weather was not co-operating (that's the West Coast for you!) Two weeks ago I got to photograph the beautiful Aaron Lukoni at 32 weeks pregnant. It was a perfect morning with gorgeous light! She was radiant as always, and had the glorious glow of a Mother-to-be. She is such a natural beauty, so I decided to take her out to the country for her maternity shoot. Setting? An old red barn, a flooded field, and a green lush field of new crops. Perfect for a Springtime baby. It's been such a joy capturing this couple's memories from engagement, wedding, to pregnancy. Hopefully we wil be able to introduce little Lukoni in a few months...

Baby Justice Gabriel - Our Everything!

It's hard to believe our little guy is now 5.5 months old! Everyday is a new adventure with him. He is such a gift from God! I never knew how much parent-hood could change a person...and now I can't imagine ever going back. We had so many challenges to get to this point. The losses leading up to this pregnancy, a difficult pregnancy, and yet here he is now - completey perfect & healthy! I thank God for him everyday and the inspiration he has been to me. Who would of known you could learn so much from such a small person who has only be on the earth for less then half of a year. He has such a gentleness to him yet he is strong! The best part? He LOVES the camera! So you will be sure to see alot of him. Here's a photo from a shoot a few weeks back! Don't you love him?

It was so much fun shooting the Lukoni's wedding in August 2009. The ceremony was held at the beautiful historic Hatley Castle on the croquet field.
